2 Timothy 4:13 “Bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas when you come—and the books, especially the parchments.”
The "parchments" here is the new testament way of saying the scriptures and the "books" are other books that the contemporaries in Paul's day wrote which were non Inspired.
Its truly amazing that Paul in the end of his very life with all that Knowledge, Wisdom, and Understanding, that he is still eager to learn!
