12 These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; 13 raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
This passage is very touching and it talks about
the apostates mentioned in Jude, and the way they are
moving through our lives and churches. We should be
vigilant as we become closer to God and as we grow
in our spiritual life... God mentions their punishment and
how we should deal with them in the book of Jude.
"They are like clouds without water." - They promise
spiritual life but are empty clouds which bring the hope
of rain, but actually deliver nothing but dryness and death.
- Justin Thomas
