"For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him"
I've appreciated this verse more so this week as I've been studying what Christ did for us in the great price that He paid for our salvation. He gave His all to rescue us. He bacame NOTHING so that He could give us EVERYTHING. How amazing is this love that we've been given. How blessed are we to be called His daughters and sons. We can never get used to hearing that Christ died for us. It should move us today and tomorrow just as much as it did yesterday and the day before that and the first day we met Him at the foot of the Cross. The beauty of the Cross of Calvary deepens with each day that we walk with Him. The more we know Him and the more we recognize how wretched we really are the more beautiful that Cross appears, the more we can appreciate how amazing His grace really is and how unconditional His love really is. THANK YOU JESUS.

I was listening to a message, and the guy was saying the difference between godly person and an immature believer isn't that that you sin less. The immature believer lets sin be a divider, and believes God "likes" them less because they sinned. The godly person immediately confesses their sin, and realizes God doesn't love them any more or any less because they sinned, and they still are able to draw close to God, and are conscious of how much their sin hurts God, and subsequently sins less.
ReplyDeleteAmen! Some ppl think that the Gospel is just to get saved and after that we move on to something else. That wrong. The truth is, we never outgrow our need for the Gospel. We our strengthened by God through the Gospel!
