The Lord Jesus Christ said, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."
Soon as we was born again, this was our heritage and birthright! But many times the Children of the Only True King don't live as such, struggling with sin, lack of victory, lack of Joy. Many times I wondered why is that!?
Often times, it is because our lives are compromised of our commitments to Christ, our families, and to the faith that was once in for all delivered to the Saints.
Revelation 2:4 say "thou hast left thy first love."
(the word used here for left is "aphemi" meaning.. divorced)
So ask God to reveal areas in your life you are compromising and ask Him for the Grace to triumph in those areas and to grant you that Abundant Life he promised! Remember Jesus made it clear, He came to provide more than the Glorious gift of salvation. In John 10:10, he says, "I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."
